STIRRING UP MEMORIES

Some of Pippy's Fondest Memories

Miss Pippy Marie had been a brave and courageous dachshund for all of her 13 years and 10 months. She came to live with us when she was only 15 months old. We had a good life together, it was just too short. Pippy was always a good dog in her early years, playful as a pup throught out her adult years, always making us laugh, always there when we got home, even if it was very late, she loved us unconditionally...

When she was 10, sudden blindness struck..Then AIHA developed just as suddenly only six months later, she was already elderly to have such an awful disease, but she survived. She survived every crisis there was and lived a good life, even though we all knew it was borrowed time. Borrowed time for which we are grateful, there were prayers being said for Pippy all around the world, she had repeated bouts of pancreatitis in the next 28 months, finally, she could take no more...

On February 15, 2001, at 4:30PM, her parents, AnnaMarie and Gary, unwillingly gave her back to her Creator.. We will never forget our last moments..we will miss her forever, until we see each other again. Pippy, you are in our hearts forever. You left a giant hole in our hearts, but be happy and at peace, little Pippy, we will be together soon. Eternity can be only a moment for you while you wait. Enjoy the Angels and the sight of His Face...
